THE CHARM OF HISTORY

This apartment is located in the historical center of a small town, in the heart of the Monferrato region. It is the result of a complex work of renovation of a rooftop space, dating back to the eighteenth century. The aim of the project is to preserve and value the beautiful original wooden structure that supports the roof.  The result is a quite modern apartment with a strong historical reference. It includes a day area with an open kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large terrace with a stunning panoramic view and a small tower room, reachable by a spiral staircase. The entrance to the mansard is from an interesting private staircase, used as a transition area with cabinetry custom made for the space. Despite the limited area of 125 sq. m. the apartment feels spacious as a result of creative custom furnishings and efficient use of space.
