Antonella Iazzetti - The lighting design for the facades of the Senate and Sinode complex is developed with the scope of accentuating the simmetrical composition hierachy imposed by Carlo Rossi. The lighting is achieved by fixtures which are hidden from the eye and do not spoil the view of the facade.

LIGHTING PROJECT

The project to illuminate the facades of the Senate and Synod historical building complex in Saint Petersburg was developed with the intent of accentuating the symmetrical hierarchy imposed by Architect Carlo Rossi in his project dated 1834. The lighting is achieved using LED fixtures which are hidden from the eye and do not interfere the view of the facade.
